Suggested fabrics: Light-heavy weight knit fabrics with medium recovery such as French terry, ponte, rib, jersey, fleece, modal, waffle, etc.

This pattern is great with most knits and stretch percentages, but it works best with knits that have 50% stretch. If you choose a fabric with less than 50% stretch, you will need to pick one with at least 50% stretch for your neck and wrist bands.

For a boxier fit avoid fabric with elastane or spandex. For beginners it is advised to avoid modal jerseys, as they tend to curl.
